Programs built around OSHA, NESC and utility-specific requirements for T&D work.
Member Network
Utilities, contractors and suppliers exchanging knowledge across the Southwest region.
Meetings & Events
Conferences are held biannually. The spring conference is designed for safety professionals and craft labor across the southwest to share industry knowledge and insights. The fall conference is held for voting members to discuss SWESE business and development. Please see the events page for additional information.
The Exchange
Safety knowledge that moves between companies
SWESE exists so lessons learned on one job site don't have to be relearned the hard way on another. Members share procedures, incident reviews, training resources and equipment evaluations in a candid, non-competitive setting.
- Peer review of work methods and PPE
- Contractor and utility collaboration
- Vendor demonstrations and new technology
- Breakout sefessions at conferences
